Our 20th Anniversary Group Conference is underway, and we are going back to Alcudia!
As the chief executive of a business with a large sales team, Cato Syversen believes having motivated, and inspired staff is extremely important. Employee engagement is something he sees as crucial to the future success of the company.
‘’We pride ourselves on being a business that people want to work for, which is demonstrated through our high retention rates and consecutive ranking in the Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work For’ year on year.’’ – Cato Syversen
Here is why we think it is important to host an all staff holiday
One for all, and all for one
The culture of a business is crucial to employee engagement, and if your employees are happy, they will look after your customers. With 16 offices dotted across the globe, we work hard to create a global culture that every office can live by. By holding a Group conference in a relaxed environment, the staff are taken away from the pressure of the work environment and encouraged to communicate and engage with each other on a social scale; as well as discuss ideas and progress.
Coming together as one team can help drive the business forward and is always going to be good for morale.
Hearing everyone’s voice
As much as businesses try, sometimes creativity doesn’t come easy. Not because employee’s struggle with it, but because they sometimes simply do not have the time due to deadlines, workload and targets. By doing a Group conference, you are giving everyone a chance to be heard. Employees from one entity may have an idea that works for them so well that it could work for others, or they could discuss tried and tested ideas to stop other entities wasting their time. It is also a chance for all employees to engage with senior members of staff on a Group level- something they may not have the chance to do often.
It’s good to give back
Ultimately, the Group conference in Alcudia, Majorca is a big thank you to staff for all their hard work over the years. As Creditsafe celebrates its 20th anniversary, we think it is important to thank the staff that got us to this point. The staff are what makes a business great, and letting your employees know they are valued and appreciated is important to maintain a strong business.
The trip will bring employees from the UK, Sweden, France, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, USA, Italy, Norway, Japan and the Netherlands together for a long weekend of bonding, sharing and celebrating. It will be the company’s second trip in five years and employees still reminisce about the last one to this day.
Lets hope this one is just as great!
